About
Hello!
Long before I had any lessons, singing and playing the piano were my favourite forms of self-expression. Whether that involved singing along to my parents’ record collections or making up my own melodies and lyrics to sing, I have always found so much happiness and creativity in experimenting with the piano and my voice.
Fast forward to now, I am lucky to have gained a range of musical and performance experience, including performing my own music under the name Robyn Errico. I have spent over 10 years performing live, composing, and recording in the studio, both piano and vocals, and have developed into a well-rounded pianist and singer with a solid understanding of both theory and feel. I was also an English tutor for many years, so I have a lot of experience teaching students of all ages.
My main aim for our sessions is for us to have fun while developing you into a confident singer or player who can get the most out of your unique voice or playing style! Sessions will be entirely tailored to you and your preferences, whether you would like to simply learn how to sing or play your favourite songs, experiment with different musical styles, work towards grades, or even write your own lyrics and melodies.

What age can my child start lessons?
We recommend from 6 years old, but we can try lessons with younger students. However, we have found younger children usually find it hard to concentrate during the lesson.
Do you teach adults or just children?
We teach both children and adults. You're never too old to learn.
Do I need my own instrument to start lessons?
No, you won't need your own instrument to start lessons. We know people would like to try a few lessons before investing in an instrument, which is absolutely fine. However, long term you will need your own instrument to practice on at home.
Do you offer instrument rental?
No, we don't offer any type of instrument rental.
What do the lessons entail?
We base lessons around each individual student's requirements. Some students want to progress through the grade exams and others just want to learn for fun. During the first lesson, we usually ask what the students' goals are and what they are hoping to get from them so that we can plan the lessons accordingly.
How regular should I have lessons?
We recommend having 1 lesson per week, but you are free to book as much or as little as you like.
Single or Subscription?
We recommend booking a single lesson to begin with to see how things go. Once you are happy, we recommend booking a weekly subscription. Subscriptions will reserve your time slot each week and automatically take payment 7 days before each lesson. You are able to cancel the subscription at anytime subject to the cancellation notice.
Do you offer free trials?
No, but you can book a single lesson with no commitments to book any more.
